Why make this map?
We want to present in what body gestures there are and which ones you can use best when giving a presentation/ talking to someone.
Body language/gestures and what they mean:
- Touching, when someone touches you it means they are comfortable being around you.

- Crossed arms, when someone does this they are subconsciously defending themselves. It can look as if they are angry, not confident, or wants to have distance.

- Restless arms or feet, this shows that someone is impatient, restless. nervous or very angry.

- Pushing your chest out, it's often seen as a sign to show how strong you are and to intimidate. Men often use this to show women how strong they are, when women use this to show what they have to offer.

- Mirroring, when someone mirrors the body gestures you use it means that they are interested in you or what you are saying.

- Where the eyes look, when someone looks down with their eyes this person is often not completely happy. It can also mean that someone is embarrassed or uneasy.

- How close someone is standing, the closer a person comes to you how more at ease this person feels. When they take a step back or stand further they or not at ease.

- Suprised, when someone is surprised their eyebrows raise and eyes become big. This can also mean that someone is scared.

- Clearing the throat, this has multiple signs. People often do this when they are nervous, annoyed or uncomfortable.

- Closed eyes, this can mean that a person is annoyed, frustrated or impatient. People can also use this in a sarcastic manner.

- Blinking a lot, when someone does this it can mean that this person is scared or nervous.

- Staring, this can be a sign of dominance or finding someone attractive. It can also be that you're interested in something/someone.

- Looking up, when someone does this it can be that the person is frustrated or thinking.

- Hand on the cheek, this can mean that the person is thinking.

- Rubbing in the eyes, if someone does this during a conversation it can be that the person didn't like what you said.

- Hands on hips, it can be that the person is angry and doesn't have any patience anymore.

- Hands balled as fists, someone often does this when they are frustrated or mad.

- Looking around, when someone is looking around when you are talking there is a big chance that this person is not interested in what you are saying.
